Our residents’ health and safety is our primary concern – we have an emergency call system in every bedroom. We also manage with 24-hour awake personal care staff and trained healthcare professionals on-call 24 hours a day.

Absolutely! At our home, we encourage you to create the home environment you have always enjoyed!

Family members can visit their loved one at any time.  We encourage visits from family and friends, including coming for a delicious meal!  Because our home to other older adults, however, it is important to be mindful of noise during early morning and late night hours.

Residents are anything but bored! We offer a wide variety of activities that you can find under the Events & Activities page.

An assisted living facility is a residential program for individuals who need help with daily activities, such as personal care, mobility, medications, meal preparation or household chores, but who do not require skilled nursing care. Assisted living programs strive to create a home-like setting that promotes independence. Nursing homes are designed for people who need daily nursing care. These facilities have nursing staff available 24 hours a day, and have a range of services (social work, occupational and physical therapies, etc.) to meet the residents’ health care needs.

Upon move-in, our care team will assess your current health and review your medical history to see how we can best meet your needs. They will also discuss your preferences as well as your normal routines to develop a care plan that’s tailor made for you. This Individualized Service Plan (ISP) details your care plan and is regularly updated to meet your evolving needs.

During the day, our staffing ratio is 1:5.  During sleeping hours, 1:10.Every resident’s care plan outlines the type of care they need.  We also try to learn each resident’s likes, dislikes and preferences, helping to anticipate a resident’s needs before they arise.

We have nurses & doctors on-call 24-hours a day.

Our residents range in age here! Late 50’s to mid 90’s. Since we have a broad range of ages we like to make sure our daily activities bring smiles! You will see different arts and crafts, musicians, special guests, and animals come and visit. Rarely a dull moment. If we do have down time, we enjoy a good generational movie or quiet time on the patio.

We live all around balanced lives here at Auburn Heights. We start by ensuring we are serving nutritious yet enjoyable meals along with snacks throughout the day. We have our weekly well being checks with our local health provider. Dog therapy has been a huge hit as well! We also promote exercise here! Finding fun ways to move about like bowling, treasure hunts outside, or getting out for the local festivals, and corn hole are a few samples of how we like to move and grove!

We have a great local coffee house next door! Iron Grind has some amazing brews, teas, pastries, and ice cream! There is also two pubs within walking distance that are favorites! O’s bar and grill and the Auburn Hotel have some amazing local flavor and great atmosphere.

We do not provide transportation. But don’t fret, we can find the right resources to assist anyone from getting here to there!

We work with a dietician on our menus to provide variety & nutritious meals.  Residents are offered 3 meals a day plus snacks. They usually have breakfast whenever they wake up and other meals together.  We are flexible with when and where you can eat.  We offer a variety of comfort foods with fish, chicken, and beef are served throughout the week, staying away from processed foods. We love incorporating vegetables, and fresh fruits as well. Don’t worry, we also realize the importance of caving into a sweet temptation and offer homemade sweets too! Our kitchen is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, where our residents can grab a snack or beverage anytime.  You can find an example menu here
